This policy covers this website only — sunshinegolfholdings.com, the public pages operated by Sunshine Golf Holdings, LLC ("we", "us"). It is a brochure site: there is nothing to sign up for, no form to fill in, and no account behind it.
The Fairways product is a separate thing with a separate policy. If you log in to the web app at app.sunshinegolfholdings.com, or use the Fairways or Fairways Operator mobile apps, what happens to your information there is governed by the Fairways Privacy Policy, not by this page. Nothing described below applies to that service, and nothing in that policy describes this website.
What we collect here
We do not ask you for anything on this site. There are no accounts, no sign-up forms, and no fields to type into. What follows is what a visit produces on its own:
- Server logs — our web server records the standard details of each request: IP address, browser user agent, the page requested, referring page, and the date and time. We use these to keep the site up, and to investigate errors and abuse.
- Usage analytics — every page of this site loads Microsoft Clarity, which records how the page is used (clicks, scrolling, and general session behavior) so we can tell whether these pages read clearly. It is not tied to any identity, because we hold no identities here.
- Anything you choose to email us — if you write to one of the addresses on this site, we have whatever you put in that email. We use it to answer you.
Third parties your browser contacts
Two things on these pages are loaded from other companies' servers. That request alone tells them your IP address and browser, the same as visiting any page that uses them:
- Google Fonts — the typefaces on every page of this site are served by Google.
- Microsoft Clarity — the analytics described above, on every page.
Links on this site to app.sunshinegolfholdings.com leave this website. Once you follow one, the Fairways Privacy Policy governs instead.
Cookies
We set no cookies of our own, and this site stores nothing in your browser. Microsoft Clarity sets its own cookies to recognize a returning session. Blocking cookies or scripts in your browser, or using an extension that blocks analytics, prevents that and does not otherwise affect this site.
What we do not do here
- We do not sell personal information.
- We do not run advertising, and we do not track you across other companies' sites.
- We do not send marketing email from this site. There is no mailing list to join.
- We collect no payment information, and this site takes no payments.
Sharing
Beyond the two providers named above and our hosting provider, Hetzner, which runs the servers this site is served from, we share nothing from this website. We may disclose information if required by law.
Retention
Server logs are kept for a limited period for security and troubleshooting and then rotated out. Analytics data is retained by Microsoft under Clarity's own retention schedule. Email you send us is kept as long as needed to handle your question.
Your choices
Because we hold no account for you here, there is usually nothing of yours for us to look up, correct, or delete from this website. If you have emailed us and want that correspondence removed, or you have a question about this policy, write to privacy@sunshinegolfholdings.com. For anything concerning a Fairways account, use the contact details in the Fairways Privacy Policy.
Changes
If we change this policy, we will update this page and revise the "Last updated" date above.
